Aftensmad (dinner) is enjoyed at home somewhere around 5 or 6 pm at the dinner table with the family. Potatoes, pasta and rice are the primary carbs. Meat-wise Danes eat beef, pork fish and chicken. A thick brown sauce, Brun Sovs, is popular among the Danes. Below you can see a list of popular classic Danish dishes.
